Dopo lunghe ore di lavoro, ho tradotto il primo capitolo in inglese (che poi dovrei postarlo qui? Booh).
È ben lungi dall'essere perfetto, quindi se qualcuno vuole darci una letta e correggere eventuali errori, si faccia avanti
Harry woke up laying face down, the spot where the killing curse had hit him hurting bad.
He stood there listening for a while, his eyes closed, waiting to hear the cheering of the Death Eaters for his death.
He pricked up his ears, but the only sound he managed to discern was a horrible sound half a way between a backwash and a groan.
He opened his eyes of a millimeter, to see where did that sound come from, but it took him a couple of seconds to understand that he wasn't lying in the Forest, surrounded by Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
He blinked his eyes, assaulted by a violent orange light, than he could finally distinguish seven people animately greeting him, all wearing gaudy orange dresses and furnished of brooms. They were the players of the "Chudley's Cannons", waving their hands from the posters hanging in Ron's room.
He sat up in the middle of the bed and turned, yawning, to his friend's.
Ron was all crouched under the bedspread, orange itself and decorated with two huge "C"s and a cannon ball.
That unnatural sound, half a way between a backwash and a groan, still hearable, seemed to be his friend's breath. Ron kept on breathing in that disgusting way, and every breath seemed to come with an unpleasant, penetrating sewer smell.
«Ron?» called Harry, with his tongue still feeling furry.
But Ron didn't move. Harry called him again and again, raising his voice, but his friend didn't look like he heard him.
Harry got down his bed, worried. It was impossible that Ron didn't hear him screaming his name, as close as their bed were.
He took his glasses from the night table, always keeping an eye on a gaunt lock of Ron's hair that tick out from under the blanket. He reached his bolster in two steps and, while with one hand he finished adjusting his glasses on his nose, with the other he pulled one side of the blanket uncovering Ron's face.
Harry screamed and fell on his back, gliding on a slipper, taking with him the blanket and losing his glasses in the middle of it.
At that point, Ron got up sitting on his bed, screaming and moaning, in a really unnatural and non-human way. That wasn't Ron. It looked like him in shape and size, it had shrubby red hair on its head and was wearing what seemed to be one of his old pajamas, but it wasn't Ron. It was deformed, covered in huge, revolting pustules, and kept howling and wriggling like a hurt beast.
Harry struggled along on the floor, grasping on the blanket that he had took with him falling down. Trying to reach, crawling, the wand that he had left under his pillow, he heard his glasses breaking under his knee.
In that right moment the door opened, and on the threshold, even if he wasn't wearing glasses, he recognized the figure of the real Ron.
«Harry, what the hell...» said Ron looking at him, shocked.
Harry was on the floor, distraught, his hair even more disheveled than usual, and half rolled in the blanket.
«RON! Thank God! In your bed there's...» said Harry putting both his hands under the pillow and taking out two wands.
«Harry, have you gone crazy? That's our demon!» Harry looked at Ron with his mouth opened, then went back looking at the figure that kept howling in the bed.
Just than he remembered that the night before they had come back for the fist time at the Borrow since the Battle of Hogwarts. It was late and there had been no time to send the demon, that had pretended to be Ron affected by ??? (come caspita si diceva spruzzolosi? Non trovo il libro in inglese per verificare) for all the previous year, back in the garret.
So Harry, dead tired, had accepted to sleep with the demon, and Ron had gone to sleep in Ginny's room.
«I had... I had forgotten» said Harry in a weak voice and violently blushing.
Ron burst down in laughing, a loud, exaggerate, liberating laugh.
Fred's death had upset everyone, just as Lupin's and Tonk's. No one had laughed for days, their absence weighted like a boulder. Harry reluctantly joined Ron's laugh to avoid ruining that moment, to keep on feeling that joy for his friend's laugh.
Ron took the blanket from the floor and put it on the demon's head, that, back invisible, seemed to calm down and started snoring again in that disgusting way.
«Come, breakfast's ready, you really need to put something in your stomach. Ginny and George are in the kitchen already. Get a move before Percy arrives» said Ron, closing the door, and keeping on laughing in the corridor.
Harry took the remains of his glasses from the floor, pointed at them with his wand and said «Reparo». The glasses where as good as new.
Harry put them on and started getting dressed. He hid the Elder Wand under the mattress and put his wand in his pant's pocket. He got out the room delicately massaging the point where the killing curse had hit him a lot of days ago, even if sometimes it seemed just happened.
He slowly got down the three floors that separated him from the Borrow's kitchen, through a zigzag stair.
The small kitchen was, as usual, pretty cluttered. Mrs. Weasley was noisily moving around the room. While a ladle stirred the beans and a knife buttered the bread, she kept on throwing sausages in a huge pan, casting melancholic glances at the kitchen's table, where her children were silently eating.
The old radio next to the sink had just announced
The hour of magic, host Rita Skeeter, with interesting news about the epic clash between He-who-must-not-be-named and the Chosen one.Harry shook his head. Ten days had passed since he and Voldemort had fought, the news had gone all around the world like a golden snitch. Even him, that had tried to avoid speaking to anyone, had been forced to tell what happened several times. It was natural that people wanted to know, to be reassured, to be sure that Voldemort was dead and gone forever.
By now, everything about the "epic clash" had been told, it was crazy that Rita Skeeter had interesting news, she wasn't even there! Maybe Harry should have lied and told that she was a Death Eater as well, and make her be locked up in Azkaban, he thought while he was sitting between George and Ginny at the kitchen's table.
Everyone greeted him, suddenly smiling, happy to be able to laugh again at the tale of Ron and the demon in pajamas, grateful to have something to laugh at.
As soon as his butt had touched the surface of the chair, Mrs. Weasley had already filled his plate.
«More sausages on the way, Harry dear. Don't worry and begin to eat» said while she turned off the radio.
Ginny stroked his hand serving him some orange juice, while Ron mimed at George how Harry had been overwhelmed by the demon and its perfidious blanket.
«I can't wait till Hermione comes back to tell her» concluded Ron biting a sausage.
Hermione had gone to Australia to recover her parents to whom she had modified their memories. She would have been away for a couple of days to reintroduce them to a normal life and spend some time with them.
Everyone begun eating again, lost in their thoughts.
Harry thought at how sweet that moment would have been if Sirius, Dumbledore, Fred, Lupin, Tonks and even Snape weren't dead and they had spent that period of peace all together.
Harry didn't know what he would have done, now. In those ten days that they had been away from the Borrow they had been busy burying their loved ones and helping where needed, he hadn't had time to think about anything. He wanted to leave alone the Weasley family for a while, and spend some time thinking about what he would have done with his life. Maybe it would have been better to leave for Grimmauld Place that same day, there there would have been Kreacher to keep him company. But Mrs Weasley would hardly have let him go away like this. He also had half a mind to send his cousin Dudley a letter. He wanted to tell him that they could rest easy now, and start, for uncle Vernon's and aunt Petunia's joy, a really normal life, away from him and his world.
As soon as everything would have calmed down, he should have also go back to Hogwarts to hide the Elder Wand.
They had discussed about it with Dumbledore's portrait in the headmasters' office and they had decided so, even with all of Ron's complaining, that thought that it was a waste to leave such a powerful wand unused forever. But Hogwarts, those days, was a bustle of wizards that had come from every corner of the world to lend a hand in the reconstruction of the school, and it hadn't been possible to hide it unobtrusively.
While he finished that thought, four owls precipitated inside the kitchen from the open window, landing on the table and messing up plates and glasses. All of the owls raised a paw, where a big square envelope was bounded. The envelopes had Hogwarts's header and they where addressed to Ginny, as obvious, but also to Harry, Ron and George, that stared in silence.
Everyone started to fumble with the string that bounded each envelope to the owl's paw. Harry managed to untie it first, he opened the envelope, extracted the parchment and read:
Dear Mr Potter,
we are happy to inform you that, according to our new school statue, every student that, for "act of God", couldn't attend the previous academic year, will have the chance to go back to school. Being, as we ascertained, in your case occurred an "act of God", we are pleased to give you the chance to complete your studies.
Please note that the new school year will begin September first. The Hogwarts Express will leave from King's Cross station, binary nine and three quarters, at eleven o'clock.
I attach the list of the textbooks for seven year's students.

P.S. Professor Albus Dumbledore, from inside his portrait, joins me in requesting your welcome presence.«Ron...» Harry called the friend that hadn't turned yet and kept reading and rereading that piece of parchment.
«You too?» asked in a low voice.
«I... they ask me to go back to school, another school year!» said Ron, enchanted.
«Hey, don't get big-headed, they asked me too» said George, punching Harry's and Ron's shoulders.
«And... what do you think you're going to do?» asked Ginny, that had just understood the meaning of the letter.
«They're all three going!» said Mrs Weasley in a voice that didn't admit replies, smashing the pan with the sausages on the table and making all of the owls fly away.
For how he had had "enough trouble for a lifetime", more trouble and pain than any adult wizard, for the first time in a year, he felt happy to be only a student again.
